Yes, I made a right choice!

Yes, I made a right choice!

I’ve been teaching Yoga from past one year (full- time). I quit my job at Deloitte and chose yoga as my profession. Yes, I made a right choice!

In this one year of journey I’ve got lot of appreciations from people that I take amazing classes. But, somewhere deep down my heart I always felt the need to learn more! I searched for a good institute. Yes I made a right choice!

I decided to do my Yoga teacher training again, from Indea Yoga, Mysore. But, for me to make that decision was very tough. As the course demanded me to stay at Mysore for a month and I’m a mother of a 20 months old baby. I gave a lot of thoughts on it and finally said YES I need to go.
Yes, I took a right decision!

But this decision of mine, made people think that I’m a selfish mom! Few people did ask me that how could I leave such a small baby for a month!? I always told myself that I’m leaving my son with his father and grandparents and not with any stranger!

I understand kids need mom's love but they equally need father’s love . Yes, I took a bold decision to leave my son with his father and his grandparents for a month and not to bother to what people speak about me!

The day I had to bid bye to my son, was like stabbing me with a knife against my heart! Went through lot of emotional  imbalance and struggle , but still I choose to be strong. Yes, I took a right decision!

My entire journey at Indea Yoga for a month was just beautiful, made me a stronger women. I became much more confident in teaching! Yes, yoga is an ocean of knowledge and there should be continuous learning.

But I was bold enough to take a right decision at a right time! We woman in India compromise a lot on our dreams! We prioritise family over our dreams! Trust me, when you have a strong desire and you are clear about your dreams, things will fall in place!

Like mine did! Yes, I made a right choice!

A special thanks to my husband and my mother in-law for supporting me and say , “You go, We will take care of your son! Achieve your dreams”

A sincere advise to all the woman, when you want to achieve something in life,  you need not compromise .You will definitely find a solution on how to achieve our dreams! Go ahead and work on achieving your dreams!

P.S : My son was happy for the entire one month. His father enjoyed his fatherhood and realised how wonderful life would be as a father and his grandparents had a gaala time and enjoyed every moment with him. Yes, I made a right choice !

Now it's the time for you to make a right choice :-)
